It’s coming. The affordable Kia EV3 subcompact electric crossover has been spotted testing on the streets of the United States wearing California license plates and some black and white camouflage.
Kia’s new low-cost electric SUV has already secured over 10,000 reservations in its home market. Kia sees the EV3 as a potential “game changer” with climbing demand for affordable electric options.
After topping Hyundai in European sales last year, Kia expects a “bumpy trajectory of EV sales” in Europe. A part of this is due to its new EV3, launched in Korea last month for just over $30,000.
