DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A young woman is still in the hospital after being shot in Springfield on New Year’s Eve; the young man who allegedly shot her is facing an attempted murder charge, among others.

The suspect in Thursday night's fatal shooting was arrested at the scene, according to the Springfield Police Department.
