No news from the APHA yet but starting the day off positive. This little Moorhen came in 6 weeks ago from Stapenhill Gardens and has been in a pen at my house in Burton. She had a broken leg with a very high up fracture, which made it difficult to stabilise. We initially restricted her movements for 10 days to allow a callus to form as she was standing in the good leg. Eventually she upgraded to an enclosure and she had full use of the leg.
