I love using these steel washers as pattern weights. I bought several years ago at the hardware store in 2” and 2.5” diameters, and I use them when cutting out my pattern pieces. They are stackable so I can easily distribute weight where I need it - sometimes that’s scattered across a large piece to reduce shifting, or stacked at a trickier section I need to cut. And the round shape makes them perfect for cutting curves, as I can get close to the edge of the pattern piece to keep everything in p
