In the parable of the lost sheep (Matthew 18 and Luke 15), Jesus teaches that we should reach out to others in need the way a caring shepherd would do for his sheep—even for just one lost from a flock of 100. How can we follow the example of the parable of the good shepherd by leaving the "ninety and nine" to find "the one" who is lost or alone. Ask yourself what you might do today, tomorrow, the next day, or sometime this next week, to follow the Saviors example and serve and love as He would.

As we continue in our Season of Thanksgiving, we also continue with our theme - With thanksgiving. Once again, we can turn to Psalm 100 to frame our sermons in this month. The last verse reads: “For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” These attributes of God are experienced by us today, but as they proclaim, will become a deeper reality in the future - everlasting, and enduring to all generations.
