New Jersey rock legend Bruce Springsteen surprised his hometown crowd at the 26th annual Light of Day concert at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank on January 17. Footage recorded here by Brian Cilli shows the 76-year-old being cheered on by the crowd as he criticizes the Trump administration’s immigration policy while introducing his song The Promised Land. “I wrote this song as an ode to American possibility,” he said. “The United States, the ideals and the value for which it stood for the pa
