On this episode of American Detour, we decided to rebuild our 5.7 liter Vortec motor. This rebuild isnt to make a ton of power, its just so that my truck doesn't bog in 5th gear constantly. We show you how to replace Piston Rings, Main bearings, Camshafts, as well as honing out cylinders to clean off cylinder bores. Lastly, we bought a shop!
