Bus evacuation drills are an important part of keeping our students safe. To meet state requirements, all schools will complete evacuation drills during the first 30 instructional days. In recognition of 🚌National School Bus Safety Week, we have been performing bus evacuation drills districtwide to ensure students and staff are familiar with emergency procedures and know how to exit a school bus quickly and safely in the event of an emergency. This morning, students from Lakeview practiced evacuating their school bus and they did an excellent job! We appreciate our Transportation Department and school bus drivers, and we thank them for keeping safety a top priority every day.
