Lufkin firefighters responded to a brush fire on Bridle Path this afternoon. The fire started on adjacent property and burned across a fence to 104 Bridle Path. The fire was quickly contained and did not reach any structures. Responding units included one Type 1 engine, two Type 6 engines, two chiefs, and two support personnel. Please use extra caution if you are using fireworks, as conditions are relatively dry and, when combined with the wind conditions, can cause a fire to spread quickly. | L
