January 8th is World Typing Day! This day celebrates the printed form of communication that ensures speed, accuracy, and efficiency over hand writing. For today, Howard shows the full letterpress printing process from the type case to the printed proof. The first portion is setting the type in a composing stick from the California job case. The font selected is 30 point Caslon. The second portion of the video is building the form in the chase and locking everything in place using furniture and q
