Was too excited and slapped the baked shell onto the unbaked clay once out of the oven. I thought the heat would maybe harden the unbaked clay a little. BUT NO! It melted the clay! I somehow didn’t think it would do that?? 😩 So this is your sign to wait for the baked shell to fully cool before doing the fossil method no matter how excited you are.
